Myles Kennedy Talks New Solo Album, Slash On ‘Lipps Service’

Veteran rock vocalist's new solo album, 'The Art of Letting Go,' is out now

Myles Kennedy is the latest guest on the SPIN Presents Lipps Service podcast, during which he and host Scott Lipps discuss the new solo album, The Art of Letting Go, trying out for an ill-fated Led Zeppelin reunion and his longtime collaboration with Slash, with whom he’s been singing in Slash and the Conspirators since 2010.

Kennedy further touches on his tenure with the non-singing members of Creed in Alter Bridge, turning down the lead vocalist spot in Velvet Revolver and shares stories from throughout his remarkable career.

On the previous episode of Lipps Service, Lipps sat down with Zakk Wylde to discuss filling the shoes of Dimebag Darrell on the Pantera reunion tour, his longtime collaborations with Ozzy Osbourne and watching the late Eddie Van Halen shred classic Led Zeppelin songs in private.

Since it began in 2018, the acclaimed podcast has featured many of the biggest voices and personalities in music, including exclusive interviews with Anthony Kiedis, David Lee Roth, Hozier, Dove Cameron, Mick Fleetwood, Nikki Sixx, Julian Casablancas, the Kills and many more. Every few weeks, a new episode of SPIN Presents Lipps Service is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
